I can't imagine that being accepted in any game playing. He needs to enter the IPv4 provided by you from the hamachi software and now you both can connect to the server and enjoy the game. After that, he needs to open the Craftopia game, enter the multiplayer menu, and select join via IP. And the one thing that always gets me, when I use one, is the increased latency. He needs to enter the username and password provided by you. If anyone knows of the problem, please help us out, it would be greatly appreciated. Gearbox was presumably working with the most recent version of the source code when they made the Classic edition, so those balance changes were already in place when they pulled out the multiplayer code, and the old CD-Key DRM. This situation arises with any other sequence of actions, like joining the saved game, trying to connect after a session was ended, or after using Hamachi or BG2 for any other means. I use proxy servers a fair amount - enough to have bookmarked half a dozen different servers - for both security testing, and to allow multiple different sessions to some hosts. The balance changes were in the source code, but Relic was only ever able to implement them into a demo, not a patch. my friend and i are trying to play on multiplayer, and port forwarding isn't an option, so we attempted to use hamachi and upon adding the IP to the Press J to jump to the feed. The idea about asking the net admin was probably the best but doubt it would hurt for the op to check into hamachi and see if ti will work for his needs. Not sure if it will work for the op's needs or not, but figured it was worth a post anyways. I know absolutely squat about on-line games /gaming, but I have read about some of it on the hamachi forums, and how people are running the games and game servers using hamachi. Most games won't play well when you run them through a proxy server. This page documents how to set up a multiplayer game, how to join one, and the Multiplayer Admin features for managing other users and the server. Proxy servers are good for surfing the net, and some interactive work that isn't sensitive to timing. In addition to being a single-player game, Factorio also supports multiplayer, allowing many players to cooperate and assist each other, or work against each other in pvp. That sounds like way to much trouble to go through i was just wondering if there was some type of proxy i could use that would get my whole connection through the firewall or something along the line of that sort.
